Reese. James T. Reese holds a doctor of philosophy degree in counseling and human development. He is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, has Board Certification in School Crisis Response, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress (A.A.E.T.S.), and is a member of the Board of Scientific and Professional Advisors of the A.A.E.T.S. He served as a lieutenant in the United States Army in combat in Vietnam and later served 25 years as a Special Agent of the FBI. He was one of the original FBI Criminal Personality Profilers ("Mindhunters", Psychology Today). Dr. Reese retired as the Assistant Unit Chief of the prestigious Behavioral Science Unit at the FBI's Training Division, FBI Academy, Quantico, Virginia. He created the FBI's stress management program and assisted in creating and monitoring the pilot program for the Psychological Services Program in the FBI. He has addressed United States Cabinet level meetings, former President George Bush's Council on Integrity and Efficiency, and provided expert testimony on stress before the United States House of Representatives.
